Les Lauriers, built in the early 18th century, is a historically listed property located in the heart of the beautiful village of Savennieres, in the Anjou region of the Loire Valley. The home has had a long succession of owners, from law professors at the University of Angers to the Duke of Cadival.
The home boasts multiple gardens: a large and small courtyard, a formal french garden, a rose garden, an alley of Linden trees, and a vegetable garden where we will grow our organic fruits and vegetables for the restaurant.
Until now, Les Lauriers has been a private home, most recently belonging to the Cointreau family.
In January 2017, a portion of the house and its gardens will open as a restaurant, and backdrop for intimate events.
